Welcome to Hatch Student Living - we provide accommodation for Wintec | Te Pukenga students and are situated on the City Campus, Rotokauri Campus and Student Village is in Collingwood Street, only a few minutes walk from the City Campus.

If you have already registered with Wintec | Te Pukenga an account may already be created for you. Look for an email from us or search your emails for the word accommodation and follow the steps.

Wintec | Te Pukenga Apartments

Wintec | Te Pukenga Apartments are conveniently located on the Wintec | Te Pukenga City Campus in the middle of Hamilton City. No car is needed, so choose us to avoid travel hassels and parking costs .
Wintec | Te Pukenga Apartments offer a modern, self-catered style of accommodation situated in a multi level apartment building. As the only accommodation offered on the city campus itself, Wintec Apartments include 12 Apartments, each containing 5 or 6 bedrooms, seperate bathroom facilities, plus a fully operating kitchen and dining room. Also on the lower ground floor you will find a large storage room plus laundry which has coin operated washing machines and dryers for your convenience.

Contracted period - $5,280 per semester or $240 per week for 2024

                                    Full Year - 29 January to 1 December 2024                    
                Semester One - 29 January to 30 June 2024
                                    Semester Two - 1 July to 1 December 2024

Contracted period - $1,840 for Summer or $220 per week for 2023, $240 from 1 January 2024

                                    4 December 2023 to 28 January 2024

Wintec | Te Pukenga Student Village

This faciltiy is a short 2 minute walk from the city campus and differs from the Apartments as it is a fully catered option.
This facility has 15 stylised Villas (referred to as blocks). Each with 5 seperate bedrooms, shared seperate shower and seperate toilet, plus a kitchenette with small under bench fridge. Here you will enjoy sitting on the undercovered deck in the afternoons outside the shared common room which has lots of comfy couches with large screen TV and a pool table for your use. Also in this block is a shared laundry facility again with coin operated washing machines and dryers.
So if you like the idea of your meals cooked for you, then apply now to the Wintec Student Village.

Contracted period - $6,930 per semester or $330 per week for 2024

                                        Full Year - 5 February to 24 November 2024
                                        Semester One - 5 February to 30 June 2024
                  Semester Two - 1 July to 24 November 2024

A non-refundable application fee of $150 is payable upon completion of the online application and please look out for an email on your next steps that will be sent immediately after the application is complete.

If an offer of place is made a deposit is payable which consists of a contingency deposit (similar to a bond), activity fee and equipment levy. Prices are dependant on which site you have applied for.

Rotokauri Eco Village

Entry requirement - must be either over the age of 20 or second year Wintec | Te Pukenga student.

Please email Sarah-Jane at accommodation@wintec.ac.nz for how to apply but note there are only 8 rooms at the Eco Village so room fill up fast.
